This project involved the complete redesign of a vinyl album package, with an emphasis on typographic hierarchy, thoughtful typeface pairings, and restrained, minimal imagery. A key challenge was creating a cohesive visual system without relying on a dominant focal point, instead allowing composition, texture, and type to guide the viewer’s attention. The project included reimagining the front and back record jacket, the inner sleeve featuring lyrics and track listings, and the Side A and Side B record labels. In addition to digital design work, the project required hands-on craftsmanship in printing, cutting, and assembling the full album package. Completed within a three-week timeline, from initial sketches to a fully assembled package, the project demonstrates a strong balance of conceptual thinking, layout, typographic hierarchy, and material awareness.
